Voodoo Gold

Voodoo Gold – like nothing you have seen before!

Voodoo Gold is a high volatility slot (rated 9 out of 10), but that doesn’t really begin to explain how cool it is.

There are six reels and an expanding number of lines. The game starts with four lines, but symbols can drop from the top of the screen in “avalanches” until the maximum of eight lines is reached.

Whenever a winning combination appears it explodes which triggers more symbols to fall into the missing cells. Basically, there are lots of symbols falling throughout this game!

Adding to the helter-skelter atmosphere, symbols come in four different sizes: standard (1×1), super (2×2), mega (3×3), and epic (4×4). When bigger symbol versions appear they are highlighted in a spooky green to indicate they are in a “voodoo state,” which converts any symbols below them into “voodoo wilds.”

Frankly, it is hard to explain all of this madness in a way that makes sense in writing. It is all a bit chaotic and totally fun!

Voodoo Gold

Bombs, dual bombs, and bonus drops

Wait, there is more!

Voodoo Gold features both bombs and dual bombs (for when just one bomb is not enough).

When a bonus symbol drops, it triggers a bomb explosion within a diamond shaped area. The bonus symbol itself remains (which is good), but symbols drop to replace the recently exploded ones, plus an avalanche of symbols drops creating a new line at the top.

If two bonus symbols drop onto the screen, you guessed it – a dual bomb! This acts much like the single bomb, except there are two explosions and twice as much damage.

If three or more bonus symbols drop, do not worry – there is no triple bomb. But there is a bonus round! Three bonus symbols gives the player six bonus drops (a.k.a. “spins”), four bonus symbols results in nine bonus drops, five bonus symbols brings twelve bonus drops, and six bonus symbols maxes out the rewards with fifteen bonus drops. Bonus symbols can still fall in the bonus drops, so an extra bonus game can be triggered during a bonus game.

Voodoo Gold

Elk Studios do that Voodoo that they do so well!

This highly original slot has everything players want from a new game: the mechanics are creative and well-designed. The features are highly entertaining. The theme is totally original (and super creepy). We think Voodoo Gold is sure to be a big hit!

Fans of Elk Studios may have noticed the similarity in the name of this game and two other Elk titles: Ecuador Gold and Tahiti Gold. If you enjoy Voodoo Gold you may want to check out these games as well, but there is no need to play them beforehand. Voodoo Gold stands on its own!

Voodoo Gold has been designed to be “mobile first,” which is fancy tech talk for it should play well on your mobile device. The graphics are so creative and intense, however, you may prefer to play it on the biggest screen you can!
